About Leanne

LW neurophysio is led by Leanne Williams, a neurological physiotherapist with extensive experience. 

Leanne qualified in 2001 with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy. She has subsequently completed a Masters degree in Rehabilitation at St Georges University, London.

Leanne has 23 years of experience of working in the NHS. This includes 10 years at the National hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen square. Leanne currently works as clinical specialist physiotherapist at the world renowned Royal Marsden treating patients with a brain/spinal tumour diagnosis.

 

Leanne has significant post-graduate training including advanced level Bobath training, APPI pilates training, Functional electrical stimulation (FES) for gait and upper limb rehabilitation and vestibular rehabilitation training. 

 

Leanne's key interest is empowering people to gain greater independence and achieve their goals. She will go the extra mile while working in partnership with all those involved in a persons care in order to gain the best possible outcomes.
